What an Amazing Weekend!!!
This past weekend was absolutely amazing! We cannot overstate that fact. We have been looking forward to this weekend since tour finished and it shattered our expectations. First of all let us say thank you so much to everyone who showed up and showed us so much love on Friday. We promoted the heck out of this show and we really hoping for a good show and we were so flattered and humbled by the response. Thanks again to Rocky for having us on the radio and especially to our many friends at Student Life for all the hard work and sweat you put into that night. You always make us feel so loved and it means so much to have such genuine people coming along side of us and being such servants. Both the guys from Love and Reverie and Yearling did an amazing job and put on a great a show, straight up rock and roll! We had over 300 people show up and make the most of an awesome night. We were excited and admittedly a bit nervous to shake the dust off from our c.d. release show last April (unanimously accepted as the worst show in My Epic history) but everyone was so supportive and Friday night we really felt it. We appreciate all our friends and fans so much and watching you guys clap, sing your guts out, and lift your hands in worship sent shivers up our spines. It was so encouraging and we enjoyed getting to meet so many of you and transition you from fans to friends. We felt like it was one of the best sets we have ever played and certainly one of the most enjoyable, if not favorite of all time. Afterwards we went back to our house with both bands and had a wonderful lasagna dinner thanks to Jesse and Travis.. wonderful girlfriends Brooke and Ashley. We stayed up till 3 in the morning playing Mario Kart and just talking, it was amazing and both those bands are made up of singularly amazing dudes who together form supergroups of kindness and radness.
